Ford Ranger problem
Ive got a 2000 ranger with a 4L . I was driving it and hit a bump and eng ck light came on. Now when you start it ,it will run for a few and the eng will die. the fuel pump is working. I wanted to get a code scanner but Im in the army and in the middle of no where. I know i can read the flash codes but what slots do i jump with a wire. any help, please

You can't pull any codes on that year by jumping anything... Only way to get 'em is with a code scanner... You guys don't have an Auto Hobby Shop on your base? Ours has one, and they pull codes for free...
