Electronic Door Locks

This problem has persisted for a week but I haven't had time to check into it. I was headed home one night and while driving I hit the door locks (like always) to lock the doors. They locked but when I got home, about 15 minutes later. I went to lock the truck up for the night and... nothing. "lock" and "unlock" don't work on either door. The next day I went out and checked all the fuses (none are blown) and everything else in the trucks works sound. I feel it's something in the wiring between the 2 doors but I'm not entirely sure. Any and all suggestions are welcome because this problem needs to be fixed so I can sell the truck

Check the wiring to the passenger door switch first. Yes, believe it or not, the harness originates on the passenger side than travels across to the driver's side. Make certain the wiring to ground "F" (behind the left lower cowl panel) is secure and no corrosion exists. The symptoms honestly sound like a weak or loose connection and that's where I'd start.

I finally got around to this issue about a month ago but i didn't update this post. I checked the grounds and all the wiring connections when i had the chance to (but i didn't get to run a continuity test.) and all the grounds are uncorroded and secure. After looking over a diagram of the wiring i'm still stumped. What are the chances that the motors just gave out?

They say anything is possible. You can always jump a positive and negative feed from the battery directly to the lock solenoids. Yes, you need both because of the way the switching is done. You have to touch both positive and negative to the solenoid AT the solenoid in the door to get them to do anything. (When the lock switch is not pressed there is neither positive nor negative fed to the solenoids.) if the solenoid doe not respond, swap the positive an negative test jumpers. If it does not respond after reversing polarity, then the solenoid is the culprit.
