Mistercmk, he has a modded slr+ with all shifting points around 2k for maximum torque! 03slowbra, he can change the firmness & shift points if you want him to.

 

Have you tried the Extreme tune that he has?

 

yes, he sent normal shifting & the 2k shifting. That tune made my truck fly! I'm tuning down a notch, ive seen 1500 degrees egt with that tune!

 

I've been seeing 1500 degree EGTs since the SRL tune before I studded it. This was with the stock exhaust and a cat delete. Not much change a WFO in EGTs with the 4" setup.

We are talking about the same tune, right? SRL, SRL+ and SRL Extreme.

 

yes, those tunes make a diesel owner smile! I have a 4" exhaust with cat delete before this tune. The egt may have went down 50-75 degrees with the milder tune from inovative.

 

I can hit 1500 pretty quick with the SRL+.

 

I tried innovative tunes before I got the SRL tunes and wasn't very happy with them. Seemed like much more effort was needed to move the truck and the cruise control cancel would almost put you through the window.

 

I only used the CC a few times with the Innovative tune, It definitely is a jolt shutting it off. With the Gearhead tunes it operates like stock.
