???? why?? I have a 79 f150 w/ a 7-1/2 plow w/ no problems and I had the same plow on my 78 bronco w/out any issues, in fact w/ the plow raised the f/e only dropped on both of the trucks...an upgrade may not be necessary but if you coils are wiped out just replace w/ oem, otherwise when you aren't using the plow it is going to ride worse than a skateboard
wow, maybe your right they all look like there sitting level,my nose is down.so with that i'm going to get hd 150 coils.thanks.you look like you have plenty of parts.
"plenty of parts"...you ain't seen nuthin"..but I am getting rid of the surplus so I can manage what I want to keep...remember if you lift the front too much then you are going to have to lift the back to 'level' it out...you may want to consider air bags to supplement the f/e when you have the plow on and then you won't mess w/ the suspension you have now...just a thought,...
well,i really think the front coils are shot.i do want to get f150 coils but just a hair stiffer or little bigger.i think lift kit springs are taller but not tougher.just made to lift for LOOKS.i want heavy duty springs.i know it will be stiffer.thanks.for info.if you have any springs let me know.
