For those of you that aren't Kenwood fans like myself, rumor has that Pioneer, and possibly other manufacturers are coming out with units that'll be compatible with the Maestro modules next spring, so you'll be able to retain sync like you can with the Kenwood. If you're willing to wait, you may have a lot more choices.

I investigated..... you are correct it does have the speed limit posted on the screen, my bad.... when I say voice command, I meant with my current garmin gps, I say "voice command" and then i verbally tell it the address and it finds it and I say "navigate", no touchey of the screen , I miss that feature.... its a lot faster than typing and I can still drive.... I/m still havingf problems linking my android for pandora, phone works but it tries to connect to pandora but fails. any ideas....

ahh I understand now (with regard to the voice command)

When you're attempting to connect to Pandora, are you using the OEM SYNC USB port? Or are you using the Kenwood/aftermarket cable that connects to the Kenwood USB port (which is on a dongle coming from the back of the head unit)?

In order for me to use the Pandora "app" within the kenwood headunit, I have to use the kenwood USB/iphone cable.... it will not work when plugged into the SYNC USB port.

Alternatively I can connect via bluetooth and stream pandora from my iphone to the headunit.

Hope that helps.

I use the bluetooth, I have an android HTC thunderbolt phone, it sounds like you have a iphone? , It will like thru the audio, but thru the pandora app on the radio, it did howerever work a few times in the begining. Still waiting for my sub set up from fedex, got redirected around the country, and I just bought a alpine 200amp, 4 channel for my door speakers I figured if I'm pulling wilres might just do it all at one time, were did you locate your amp and wiring in floor?

going with 2 12" shallow kickers, in a coutom box behind seat with the 1000 watt kicker amp., went thru hifi sound.com, 530.00 delivered, oh that was with a refirb amp, but warranteed for 2 years. I also just picked up a alpine 200watt for the door speakers, I figured since I'll have things pulled apart this weekend might just as well do it at the same time, I think this should top it all off...

I've been looking at that one also. Do you have the factory sub in your truck now ? I do, and feel it's ok for a factory sub but lacks the punch I'd like to have. You'll have to let me know how well you like the one you're getting, how well it fits, and what you had to cut, remove, and modify to get it to fit. Also I'd like to see photos of your install when you get it all finished if possible.
