New modifications

Well did the Gotts mod on my 01 f150 screw 5.4 and I must say that has made a difference in engine response, seems a bit more crisp to gas pedal!
also replacing exhaust manifold with pacesetter shorty headers. All I can say is thanks to god I have a friend with shop and lift and all the tools including the fire wrench. The left side is done. All bolts and studs came out no problem. New bolts were a pain getting in because of bends in header pipes. Now the right side different story. 2 studs broke which is why I was changing in the first place, I have 5 studs to remove!. Manifold is off. Tomorrow I will finish it!! And I will post results. Truck as 247,000 mils

Well finished te headers with toal labor time 4.5 hrs, the only big obstacles where the steering shaft and broken studs. The ol boy sounds good, now to change out the muffler!
