Damn
I was just reading a post and it was just what I found last week. Both front floor pants are rusted out. I'm going to repair them this summer. I always removed the rug, checked the floor, but due to the sound proof. You cannot tell until it is too late. Does anyone know where I could get replacment aftermarket front pans? It better than making my own. The body is great, engine and trans great only 95,000Ks, so alil money to keep it going for 8 more yrs is worth it.
you might check jc whitney.com i got some rocker panels from them last year. i did the drivers side, this summer i'll do the passenger side. now the piece of lower body panel aft of the sliding door is rusting. i'm not sure a piece is made for that. it will take some backyard engineering. i have also heard there is a place called "auto body panels", but i have not tried them, maybe a good www search will help. let me know if you find any. rick
Try Cross Canada auto body parts. Their prices are pretty good. I think most auto suppliers in Canada can get their stuff. Their web site is Cross Canada
I used a couple of their cab corners on a 79 F150 a few years ago and they fit pretty good.
