Will dodge 8 lugs from a 04 Dodge ram fit a 77 ford F-250? Im wondering will the hubs fit through also?

Both Dodge and Chevy late model 8 lug wheels will fit, but ironically Ford wheels won't (with the exception of the Econoline wheels) Ford went metric in '98 iirc.

IIRC all the Dodge wheels fit over the Ford hubs, but some of the later Chevy wheels have a smaller center hole and therefore do not fit over the Ford hubs.

The moral of the story is measure before you buy.

Yea but I have dodge rims in storage and I am going to pick up a truck that wont fit on a car trailer because the tires are too wide so I was gunna put my dodge rims on to haul it home.

You should be good to go then, if it were Chevy wheels i'd get measurements first.

I tried some Dodge 8 bolt rims(1995 3/4 ton 4x4) on my '88 F250 4x4 and the centers were too small by about an 1/8 inch. The bolt pattern is the same though.I don't know if all the dodge rims are the same.I took a die grinder to them to enlarge the center.

What's the hub diameter on an 88? on a 73-79 it's 5.75"

Is there any type equivalent for 4x4 wheels as to interchangeability?

Ok thanks Montana. I'll have to measure the hole on the dodge rims and I'll post what I come up with.

Yea, keep me posted MudRat, from my experience the Dodge wheels fit our Ford hubs, but others say not, so i'm curious as to your findings.
