8 Lug F250 Wheels?
I have a '77 F250 2WD Ranger. I want to put some wheels on it. I find lots of aftermarket and OEM take offs available, but I'm not sure what wheels will fit on this truck???
Is there a certain year model of Ford 8 lug wheels that will fit my truck, or are they all the same?
Lots of Dodge and GM wheels out there too. Will they fit?
Thanks,
Rich

Most 8 lug wheels you come across are the right bolt pattern (8x6.5) the thing you need to be careful of as a ford guy is to make sure the center hole is big enough. I've had countless issues with stock style wheels not clearing the big hubs these fords have. Chebby wheels mostly, never tried a dodge wheel i don't think. Most aftermarket wheels won't have this problem, but if you're looking at a stock style wheel stick with a ford wheel, and nothing newer than 97, the lug pattern went metric.

this has been covered many times over. 97+ Ford wheels can fit if you have them re-drilled. Sometimes this option is decent IF you find a set of take-offs you like at a really good price. I have had more than one set offered to me for free - so it could happen.
As for chevy and dodge wheels - the others seemed to cover it. I tried a newer set of chevy wheels and the lug pattenr was right but the center bore was not.
