Purge Valve Test

Can someone explain the procedure to test the EVAP purge valve (on the strut tower under the hood) using a vacuum pump and a 12V source.

To follow the Ford Workshop Manual you'd need access to the system a dealer uses. It's all about accessing PIDs, commanding values and using a DMM to diagnose the system.
