Hello Guys,Iam in the middle of doing my standpipe and dummy plugs. There is a short plug included in the package. It is around 1/2 inch long does that go in the middle of the oil rail? Thanks for any response .
Iirc, the oil rails are the same part # for left and right side. On the later trucks with the ICP sensor in the passenger side valve cover, the plug goes in the unused hole on the driver side oil rail.
Thanks Rusty,
I've got a 2007 ,so I don't need that short plug.I'll post some pics here later, the driver side plug was worn and the passenger side was pretty near gone.I had long crank for awhile and then the no start when hot started, hopefully I get here back together tomorrow.
No oil cooler, My deltas are in the 6-8 degree spread so I hope iam good for awhile. The truck has around 200000 kilometers(125000 miles).I keep an eye on things with the scanguage and all the info I have learned thanks to the guys on here!
