I agree, man I want to do something like that! Except instead of cutting the frame, I'd put a platform for a golf cart and mount my 5th wheel hitch behind that.
If I had the space I would pick this up 2005 extreme F650 supertruck it may cost a little more (58k) but the amount of time and money saved in trying to fix up the 3K wreck may be worth it in the long run. I would remove the stacks but besides that, it sure beats the price of a brand new 250/350.

Yeah I love those, remove stacks. I think it needs black rims too.
Definitely not a daily driver but it might make for a good road trip. I have seen a few of these in my area and I would like to have one but I just don’t need it for anything besides joy riding and I would need a bigger driveway or a rental garage to store it.
I used to drive a single cab version with a flatbed for delivering granite. Not a bad ride but when you hit a big bump you got a ride on the air ride rollercoaster.
