Unhappy Sometimes, being right really stinks.

Sorry if this was posted before, I don't get a chance to surf a lot anymore (work sux).

But, I'm afraid that I may have been right about my prediction of coils up front on the new design SD.

Sometimes, being right really stinks.

ohh man that whole argument makes me sick...The MAIN REASON the new Superduty's took the Aftermarket lifted sceen by storm is because they are the only HD truck out there with the solid front end setup!! Now we all know that Ford die hards like me wouldnt even ever consider buying anything else.... But many of my friends switched from lifelong dodge and chevy fans to go with the new fords... Maximum Altitude in San Antonio does Solid Axle front end swaps on big chevy's and 150's, people pay the big bucks,, now i can see us having to buy a new F250/350 then paying $1000's more to convert it to a Dana60 leaf setup ourselves!!! this makes me frustrated!!! Notice on that link how the dudes who run torsion bars(SUCK) post how they are soo great... Ya cause thats what there stuck with....If ford goes coils i will try to deal with it... If they go Torsion bars ill be keeping my 2001 F250 forever.

That's a bad decision in my eyes too.

The way I look at it, I'll die before my F250 does.

Maybe they'll offer SFA/Coils as an option like the GVWR option or plow pkg for the "die hards."

If you make the ride TOO smooth, then you'll get a bunch of yuppies driving big trucks around.... and they can't drive their little RAV4s as it is!!! So I think we argue to Ford that going to coils is a public safety problem.

At least the solid axle stays... until '07.

Then who knows what they'll do!?!

Sometimes, being right really stinks.

Well I bought 4X4 Ford for this design.

I guess unless the coil design also comes with a gasoline V12 8.2L motor I will just have to keep this one.
