DB2 TPS bolts...

I need the two shouldered torx bolts that fasten the TPS bracket to the IP.

Any suggestions?

Ok, that's what my backup plan was if I was unable to locate the originals. Also I was worried the thread would be a ******* size, like the t-17 torx head. I'll try that today hopefully.
Thanks for the help

I just got some hex head bolts out of the bin at the hardware store, made sure they were the same thread and called it a day. They are easier to adjust because I can just stick the box end of a wrench down there to adjust the TPS. No fooling around with an allan wrench, etc.

Yeah, they ended up just being standard 1/4" bolts. But I did get Allen head bolts. Still way better than torx haha... Much easier to get my volts...

Ended up with 1.23/4.18 voltage readings

How are your shift points with those voltages? They sound right on target to me. That reminds me that I need to check mine again to make sure nothing has drifted in the past year.

1/4" bolts sound right. It's been a while. haha.

They are a lot better but I've got some weak points internally so it's not as it should be.

Plus my ip needs to have the timing set (broke timing advance cam) and injectors are due for a change. So she's got some power loss which doesn't help.

But at about 3/4 throttle 1-2 is pretty firm @2300 2-3 around 2200 LU about 5 sec after that and od @ 2100.

Although... Lastnight LU came just after it shifted into 2nd. It's done this since I got it. Everyone kept saying that's not what it is, but Im 99.9% sure that's what she's doing. It hasn't happened since I adjusted the TPS (100miles), until last night. It did it randomly before.

Anyway, that's why I say there's internal issues.

LU should be after 3rd and before O/D. If you are sure it is locking up after 2nd, then there are some other issues involved. You can trouble shoot some if you disable O/D with the switch. Count how many gears and when they engage. TPS to my knowledge does not control lockup time. It should always be after 3rd somewhere around 35-40 MPH.

Yeah it's deff LU. Also i replaced the speed sensor on the rear chunk and the speedometer sensor on the TC but the antilock light is still on.

Do you think I've still got an issue w the speed sensor on the rearend?

It's also slow to engage reverse cold/hot

Have you replaced the speed sensor on the rear end? If not, it can't hurt.

How slow is slow when engaging reverse? That is a common problem with E4ODs. It doesn't necessarily mean the tranny is junk but it also doesn't mean everything is fine.
