Frame interchangeability
My son has a 2003 Ranger Supercab and the rear frame is rotted out. We found a guy parting out a 1999 Supercab. Will the frames interchange? He worked in a body shop for 6 years and did frame replacments on F150's up to F350's. Not too worried about doing the job just want to know if they will swap out

On your frame interchange question, I believe they will swap out ok. However you may find small differences between the two because of one being 4 years newer than the other. One may have something the other doesn't or something was moved slightly. You may also want to check some interchange manuals for body parts that body shops or wrecking yards have to see if it covers frames too. I don't want to give you some bad info, so it wouldn't hurt to double check other sources.
