quick body/frame swap question

i have a few parts trucks sitting around.. i got a 78 F250 frame that is good.. would a 1980-1991 cab and body bolt on to the 78 frame ?

was thinking about sticking a newer body on a older frame along with a newer motor / trans.

its either that or put my full size jeep truck body on the F-250 frame

As many will tell you. .. Anything is possible. Not sure about being real quick though. Might pull out a tape measure before starting to see how far off it is.

the mounts will be like 4-6" off and you'll have to move them and do fabrication. My advice to most people in that situation is that either of the trucks are so friggin cheap that its not worth the hassle, just buy the right frame/body to go together...
