Fuel transferring from rear to front

Fuel transferring from rear to front
I know this has been discussed ad nauseum but here I go. 2 new motorcraft fuel pumps. complete assembly's. I have warrantied the front one twice thinking I was getting bad parts. I want to just install external fuel line check valves. Anyone know a good alternative to the Ford part that seems to be 120 bucks. Would I be wasting my time getting some from the junkyard. A lot of people mention this fix but I can't seem to find part numbers. The issue is what the heading states.

Does your 1990 have the large high-pressure pumps in each tank, or the small pusher pumps in each tank with the high pressure pump mounted on the frame under the drivers feet? If the latter, your problem is in the pressure actuated tank switching valve. It is right under the drivers seat and has lines from both tanks connected to the inlet, and one set of lines going out to the engine. Looks like a filter canister, but there is no filter in it.

Subford i am on my 3rd "Motorcraft" pump assemblie. I don't think I can try to warranty exchange again. Maybe I could call motorcraft. I assumed a new not rebuilt motorcraft pump assembly would be the correct one. Live and learn. (groan)
Brian I have the large pumps, no underframe mounted one.
Any recommendations for a check valve or bite the bullet and buy new ford ones?
