I have a '94 f150 2wd and my suspension is super *****y, its a daily driver that goes off road almost every day. i would like to know what i suspension kit should i buy? Ex. rough country, skyjacker etc. i also have a 4 inch body lift
I HIGHLY doubt you have a 4 INCH body lift... so many people say they have a 4" body lift in their truck and I have yet to see a kit that offers one more than 3", that is what I have in my truck.
Unless of course you lifted it an alternate way.. like with hockey pucks..
Just rebuild the stock suspension by replacing the worn bushings etc. You might want to replace the ball joints and steering linkage components. Then throw on some new shocks. That is your best bet. Go with Energy Suspension or Prothane bushings. I would suggest removing the body lift as well.
If you really do have a 4" body lift, throw that in the garbage, and buy a suspension lift if you want it tall. If you ask me a jacked up 2wd is pointless anyway, but to each his own. But like these guys said, replace the bushings and other components that will wear over time. Shocks are a huge component of the ride. I use Rancho shocks myself. Lots of good brands out there. Most of it's a personal preference thing though.
If you really want a nice suspension you can ditch the body lift and get you a mid travel setup with some deavers out back. Many manufactures sell nice kits for the front of these i beam trucks
I'm not really looking for a lift, the body lift cam with it when I bought it I'm just looking for something tough enough for what I put it through. I just took a look at rancho and energy suspension a lot of cool stuff

I agree, though my 93 2wd had a 4 inch Pro-Comp lift on it when I bought it. Looks nice, but that is all it's probably good for.
If you go Rancho I hope you have better success than I did. I couldn't get those shocks off fast enough. It was the only time I have ever replaced shocks and had the vehicle drive worse than before.
Having a "jacked up" 2wd can be very enjoyable, if you have the correct suspension setup and proper terrain to really enjoy it. Will it do well in some midwest mud? Of course not. Will it do well out in the desert? Oh yeah
