I have a 2001 expedition 5.4. It has an intermitant problem. I have been to two shops and have paid to replace. Throttle position sensor, both front oxygen sensors, , mass air flow sensors, EGR valve. new spark plugs, fuel filter and still have the problem. So I purchased an Innova scanner with a live data function.
The truck runs fine. Then suddenly looses power, goes to a slow idle and struggles to keep running. Hitting the gas peddle does nothing. I do not get engine codes. I have print outs of the live data when it happens. Can I send these to someone that knows how to interpret what is the cause and effect of the data.
To me it looks like the timing starts advancing when it happens. To me the timing seems to jump around during the test more than I would expect. The short term fuel seems to go from 0 to 60 when it looses power for some reason. To me other things seem consistent.
