Short video of my Swing Case on my F250

This is a short video of a SWING CASE I installed on my 2011 F250.
I was not paid for this, nor is it an advertisement of any kind. I simply installed this on my truck, and wanted to show you guys how it works in case anyone may be interested.

I have alot more install and review videos on my youtube channel, if your ever curious about new parts, check it out and let me know what you think.

Good job, reps for the good video. On that side of the truck I have the Ford cable lock and my in bed trailer plug.

Do they make a configuration for the other side?

Nice video, I thought about getting one, but I have the bed extenders and the cable lock system which comes in handy.

I did notice on your truck that you have some type of rail system running the length of the inside lip of the top of the bed. What is that ? I was thinking that it was some type of tie down rail system. If so do you like it and is it of quality. I had a system on a tundra that was fantastic, But I have never been able to find one for my F250.

Could you let me know the make if it is this type of system and where you bought it.

Thanks.

I did some checking and found this. Is this kinda of what you have. And do you think this kit is a quality kit. thanks for your imput.

That's awesome. I have some metal boxes, one with drawers and one with a top opening. I forget the brand. I came up with a removable mount scheme, but I like this approach much better.

Thanks for sharing.

Yes! They actually make these to work on either side, or both! (note you must order a specific LEFT or RIGHT configuration)

The rails are actually not rails in the traditional terms, they are for a BAKFlip RollBak cover. I will be doing a quick video on this cover shortly, and uploading it as well!

Another good video Jay. Looks like you could access that box one handed which means you dont have to put your beer down. Very nice product as well.

I bought a left and right pair of these for my truck - very handy. My previous truck had a cross-bed tool box. When I sold the truck and emptied out the tool box, I found there was a bunch of crap in there that I hadn't ever used. I sorted through the pile and easily fit everything I think I'll need into these two swing boxes.

One thing to remember if you order both sides is to order the matching key set. I ordered mine separately and the keys for each side were different. Swing Case sells a kit that has two lock sets and one matched set of keys.

Also, I found that one of the self-drilling screws that were included in the install kit kept vibrating out. The screw on each side closest to the wheel well. I held a threaded flat washer in the inside if the bed (reach up behind the mud flap) and had my wife tighten the screw. Works like a charm.

That is a pretty cool accessory. Do you still have access to the factory tie down mount in the lower corner of the bed? if so I may think of buying one of these.
