If you use your truck for actual work and hauling the system sucks! Been there didn't even get a year and a half out of the system. Went back weatherguard pack rat sliders. There was so many cracks in the decked box system the drawers wouldn't open and water poured in.

I’m looking at them as well but you are right that you lose the entire bed to the drawers. They don’t seem that easy to remove and reinstall as needed. Tonight I brought a ball & burlap tree home with me. Not sure how I would do that with the decked system.
If they had had a quick release option that would be nice.

I have the jobox version and my biggest complaint is getting in it when it’s raining. Sucks getting your crap wet.
Here's the deck on my old 2014 F250. Sides telescope so 2 sled/ATVs fit and winch to get them up if needed. Weather sealed...downside? Had to buy new gas cans to fit in the drawer under the deck, and if ur parked downhill, the drawer is tough to hold extended. Otherwise love it! Customer service is amazing, and installation took me ~8hrs the first time. Just transferred to my new 2019 and that only took me about 3hrs to complete. Truck drives amazing with the sled on back, and I have also added a beaver tail extension (folds away) so more of track is supported.

Your installation comment is why I would love it if they had a quick release system. I want the decked system however I don't want to spend hours installing it and removing it each time I need the bed of the truck...
Nice sleds... they hang off quite a bit don't they. I'm guessing since the weight is in the engine it's all good.

Its screwed to the bed floor, so you dont wanna be taking it on & off all the time. I admit I do occasionally need the bed, but make up for it by being able to strap down just about anything on the deck. As I mentioned, added an extension for the sleds to be better supported. Deck wght ~400lbs, drawer system ~75-85lbs more.
my idea was to add a box in the unused space with a lid ….and when closed the second box would be level with the first decked system….giving us an 8 ft level area.
I font like the new tool box becuase it’s winged to hang over the edges of the bed which makes the solution a no go for folks with a camper top.
My father in law has the decked system in an F150 with an 8' bed. As mentioned above, it leaves a dead space in front of the system that seems out of place. He's a gadget guy so it works well for him but I think you end up losing a lot of bed space for the setup. I'd rather have a bed slide and a tonneau cover.
