Hey all..have all the parts to do the swap..but was wondering if the rear crossmember mount will have to be changed or if it'll have to be changed for the c4
lol!...right but the crossmember holds the mount, so unless you have one of those 'new models' with the floating mount the crossmember has to be under the mount. :P
Lol I get what youre saying. It don't matter so much anymore. I'm pretty indecisive when it comes to things and for now..and I mean for now..I'm just gonna stick with the t18. It's practically bulletproof and with a 300/6 in front ill have a good rig.
does your t18 grind a bit when putting it in rev? u said in the other thread u took the shifter off, does your 1-2/reverse slider look a bit chewed up towards the rear of the trans? im trying to assess the condition of mine b4 i put it in.
I'll get back with ya on that one haha. I gotta go out and look it it with a flashlight and ill let ya know..but as far as I remember it shifts smoothly
