2012 OEM rubber floor mats vs 2011..different???
Hey guys, I went to the dealer today to get some floor mats but all they had was ones for a 2011 and they fit weird. I think there is a difference where the dead pedal(or that area) would go. Mine on my 2012 raises up on the left corner and the mats for the 2011's seem to dip down on the left corner. Anyways I went on the ford accessories site and they look like the same part number BC3Z-2613300-AA. I called a parts department and they weren't much help and said they don't have a part number for the newer 2012 build date trucks. Anyways does anyone have a part number for the newer mats?
here's what the 2011 mats looks that don't fit my truck...notice the drivers side with the dip

There was a change in the floorboards but I can't remember when it started. Get in touch with Tousley Parts Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - View Profile: FORDSVTPARTS. They're site sponsors here and great to deal with. They should be able to help you out.

I can tell you for sure that it was sometime after Nov.2011. My 2012 was built on Halloween and I have the indented dead pedal area. I like the depression as it is a great place to lay your heel and kind of stretch a little.
My truck came with the carpeted floor mat delete and these all weather mats are very heavy duty and cover a decent area. They don't cover as much as a set of Weathertech's, but almost as much and are enough to make me forgoe the Weathertech's this time.

I got my job2 in Feb this year and that was a huge issue getting the right mats.
Yes there was a change on the left side floorpan, so you have to get the 2012 specifically. I went with the aftermarket ones and when you order it there is a specific option to pick for the new configuration.
I went with the husky liners. The option is "with driver foot rest".

I just got a set of the WeatherTechs for mine yesterday.
They were 99 for the fronts and the same for the back at a local truck accessory shop here in town. I really like the coverage I get from them plus if something happens to get spilled it will help to keep it from getting on the carpet. I have a 2012 with a 10/2011 build date and it has the dead pedal area on the left.

Remembered reading this thread and wanted to share: Friend Took delivery of his 2013 F-350 earlier this week. It replaced an identical 2011 that he had a Weathertech full front floor liner for. At first we were concerned that his old floor liner would not work due to the raise floor/dead pedal. Upon further inspection we found that the floor pan of the cab is the same as the older trucks, they just glued a piece of Styrofoam to the back of the carpet to create the raised dead pedal. I removed the Styrofoam spacer, pushed the carpet down & the floor liner from the 2011 fits great. There is a small wrinkle in the carpet, but it is completely unnoticeable with the floor liner installed.
