No leaking brake lines. The bad calipers have been replaced. Brake system doesnt seem to build pressure when the truck is running. The pedal gets stiff when the truck is shut off but when its started the pedal goes to the floor. Just put in a new booster and master cylinder. Flushed and blead all the lines several times now and got all the air out and am now getting a nice solid stream of fluid. Any ideas?
I have the same issue on my 2002 FX4. Had a leak on a rear brake line and thought that might have been the problem. After having it replaced the mechanic could not get the brakes to bleed up. he replaced the master twice and eventualy put my old one back on because he couldn't get it to pressure up. He stated that there is a hydraulic assembley by the peddel that was bad.
Has antone encountered this before? Is he correct?
