captain seat help

i have an '81 bronco ranger xlt with stock captain seats,.the drivers seat adjustment does not seem to to come up to a good up right position,.it kinda lays back when all the way up,. is there an adjustment to this, or a fix,.i have not torn into it, wanted to check here first,.i hate laying back while driving i like to be upright,.Gunner

you can swap to any set of captain seats from 80-96 from broncos to F350's. direct swap in, same goes for mustang seats.

so i wouldnt bother trying to fix i would just upgrade!!

No adjustment that I know of. Might have to look into the latching and see if it is broke.

the latch is not broke, and it sits in the same spot as the right seat,. I would just like it if it were more straight ,. but of that's it then I'll just adapt a wedge type back cushion ,.it's ok where it's at Ill have to get used to it

Mine sit to straight for me. Might check out other seats over time to see if there was a change in the latches.

if you get a newer set of seats most come with a lumbar support, all you have to do is run power to it which wouldnt be hard. my 94 bronco had this feature. my 88 maybe also but maybe wrong.
