Has anyone had experience with these? Any tips as to getting it into what looks like one hell of a tight space? I plan on tackling it this weekend, so I'll update the install, if it interests anyone.
Sorry for the delay guys. The tropical storm drown me out last week.
First off, this is a great time to change your plugs, as you'll never have a better shot at them with the manifolds being off. Don't forget to pick up some high-temp copper gasket seal while you are at it.
It was a tight fit on the drivers side, as the outlet end on the header rests right up against the cross-member. The only way to get it on is to start with the bolt closest to the cab. after getting in secure, but not tight, go to the other side, then alternate back again working your way to the middle, before buttoning it all up. You are going to need a 3/8 wrench, as there are a few spots that will not accommodate a socket wrench (at least any of my shi**y socket wrenches).
The other side, while snug on the cross-member was a piece of cake and lined right up, due to the studs.
