powerstroke grawling

I have a heck of a noise coming from my truck after it in high gear it a grawling noise,I have changed all the idler pulleys. It shifts fast out of 2nd and hits 3 rd real hard then overdrive,then you can really hear that noise, any ideas.It is a 1997 F-350 Powerstroke.Thanks

188000 miles the trany was rebuild 30,000 miles ago by previous owner.It dosnt shift the same hardly ever sometimes it shifts fine.Thanks

could be downpipe touching firewall if you have after market downpipe

No lights blinking. No Loping it pretty smooth. pipe is 3 inch.It real does it around 40 mph and light on the foot feed the fast you go the less you here it
