Independent Air Filter Test
I read this article and thought it was interesting.
A qualified person has tested 6 separate air filters for flow and filtration. He admits being a return user of K&N filters.

As always, draw your own conclusions and make your own decisions. But this is a cool article, and is an unbiased test by a qualified person to help the fellow motorist.

Interesting perspectives in the article, but drawing conclusions simply on the color of the filter is pretty sketchy. There has to be weight data in order to even begin to approach an accurate interpretation of the filtration results.
