Needing Help Please

Okay guys getting fed up with the local Ford dealer. Here is the problem.

2008 F-450 6.4 diesel. 66k miles. Starting doing this for the past 10k miles. Driving down the road and the truck just cuts itself off. When you try to start it back, nothing happens. Wait a couple of hours...fires right up.

Local dealer says that it is a sensor clogging up and to drive it down the highway. So we did and two days later it does it again.

Anyone else have this problem or heard of it????

Thinking I need to do a EGR & DPF delete.....????

All help welcome and appreciated.

Look at the EGT sensors..when they cool down it will allow a restart. Did you scan for codes or the dealer access the PCM?

Time for a new dealer.
