6.4l upgrades
I am not sure if this has been started or not but here it goes again. I am looking at buying a 6.4l f250 cc. I have been going back and forth on the decision, 6.0l vs 6.4l, and decided that the mods will cast about the same so i might as well get the rest of the truck newer. my main questions are what are the mods a guy should do first. I am looking for the increased fuel milage and a mild tuner. this truck would be my daily driver so i don't plan on taking it to the track and racing it.
i have been looking at the egr delete and the dpf delete kits. I see with both kits a guy has to buy a tuner. Thing have changed a bit since i had my 00 7.3l. Any and all suggestions would help. I would like to drive and upgrade as i go and stay within a reasonable budget. thanks

Intake/Tuner/Exhaust and your truck will last a long while as long as you are sensible.
Intake - S&B or AFE
Tuner - H&S or Spartan (there are lots of debate on which one is better but they are pretty well split)
Exhaust - If you are on a budget just a DPF/DoC delete pipe, if you want to do a full exhaust off the bat, 5" turbo back (it will include a downpipe then).
I also suggest EGR delete. FloPro sells a good kit. Just make sure it has the intake elbow.
Also search CCV mod.
Other than that it just keeps building because it is an addiction.
