Small irritating problems I need help on

First: Odometer lights go out a lot.
Second: Cruise Control light just went out
Third: In Dash cup holder spring came loose from the 2 plastic nibs.

Is there a fix for any of these?

First and Second: Need to pull apart the dash and solder new LEDs in the dash on the logic board.
Third: damn good question, good luck!

There is a thread here for the odometer - search "odometer blackout problem fixed" and you will find it. You need to pull the cluster, and resurface / remelt a few cold solder joints. The write up is good with pics and all.

My in-dash cupholder spring kept coming off so I removed it from the dash and used a small screw (1/4" long?) to hold it in place. It has performed flawlessly for 6-7 years. Going from memory here...

1. Remove cup holder (I think there is a courtesy lamp attached somehow)
2. Take spring (this is not a coiled spring but more like a thin strip of metal that functions just like a coiled spring) to workbench and drill small hole through middle of spring (equidistant from each end and each edge) AND drill small STARTER hole into cup holder
3. The more bend in the spring, the faster it'll pop out of the dash when you push in on it to get it out of the dash (you can experiment with this)
4. Mount spring to cup holder (the screw, through the spring, and into the plastic of the cup holder (don't over tighten so as to wallow out your hole in the plastic cup holder)
5. Reattach courtesy lamp
6. Reinstall cupholder into dash
7. Place beverage of your choice in cup holder
8. Enjoy beverage

Progress made with the in dash cup holder. Drilled a hole in the existing plastic pop rivets and installed two screws.

The little LED is not lighting but I couldn't get it loose to change it out. Anybody know how to change those lights out. I didn't want to break the electrical connector inside the dash area.
