Hi y'all, I have started a project that I really don't know much about, because it does not have a keyboard, ha. I found a 1964 F100 with either a Galaxie 289 or Mustang 289, motor runs great.
Frame is excellent, truck really runs nice. I need to do sheet metal work on the floor, not much 2/3 of the floor is excellent. Firewall and inner fender wells good. Sharp really runs, bought it for $1000.00. Figured after I got the motor running, it was worth it.
Been sitting in a barn for 15 years, need to do some sheet metal work, hope someone can guide me through this. Glad to be in this forum and look forward to communicating with folks.
Fixed it for you. It's difficult to read a post where there are run-on sentences, no punctuation and spelling errors. I hate to be a nitpicker, but...
I hope ND's reply doesn't offend you too much. I could read your post just fine. You'll find that most of us here are not nearly as unnecessarily rude!
NumberDummy, there's no need to state the obvious. We all know that you simply hate to be a nitpicker!
BTW, "Fixed it for you." is not a complete sentence. Also, "..." is not considered proper punctuation to end a sentence. Finally, what do you mean by "there are... no punctuation..."? That's awkward. Better would be "punctuation problems" or something like that. If you're going to point out others' poor English, then please try to do a little better yourself.
dave we need pic, use your gallery
also where are you in the world ca. ny. nc.
if you can see rust you have a lot of the stuff
roy ( thats only one sentence i think)
It was not meant to offend, it was meant to educate. I read 100's of posts on FTE every day. So I know that if I didn't say something about it, someone else would have.
Read the post again, I did not say "there are no punctuation." I said there are run-on sentences COMMA no punctuation and spelling errors.
btw: "Fixed it for you" is a complete sentence. Look up "fixed" in the dictionary, look up comma while you're at it.
ND, I'm just giving you a hard time! You didn't think you could have a monopoly on that did you? If you truly want to educate, be sure vote Democrat (I know you'll love that). This is a truck talk site, not a grammar symposium, and there's a wide spectrum of writing abilities represented. FWIW, some of the smartest people I know can't spell or write worth a darn.
"Fixed it for you." is lacking a subject and is thus NOT a complete sentence. Now, "I fixed it for you." has a subject and IS a complete sentence. Of course, nitpicking aside, we all assume that the "I" is understood, and it's all good in the 'hood.
Wow I have to say after going back and reading that thread it was bad.
Maybe no more beers for me when I am wrenchen..
Anyhow truck is coming along fine new gas tank is in took the bed off and wire wheeled the frame, the metal was real good going to paint it with POR 15. I should complete the brakes this week, having a pretty good time reminds me of when I was a kid way back 72
So excuse my writing its an old education and mixed with Iron City even older..
