Scanguage suggestions
So I will be installing mine today (2001 V10) and have briefly read thru the instructions. Most of it looks pretty easy until it comes time to add the other formats (trans temp , coolant temp, etc) then it starts to look complicated.
Does anyone have any suggestions or anything for programming this ? Or is it pretty easy once you start.
I want to monitor trans temp, coolant temp, for sure but am unsure of which others I should monitor. Does the SC pick up fuel pressure in our trucks ?
How are everyone else gauges set up to monitor ?

Got it installed and programmed , it was much easier than I thought it would be.
I've got it set on Trans temp, coolant temp, voltage and gallons per hour. I guess I really don't have a need for all the trip stuff.. if we take the truck on a trip we know it will use a lot of gas.. it is what it is. I am thinking that the GPH will help me find the sweet spot as far as some economy.

Yep, they are pretty easy to program. It may seem intimidating with all the different numbers, but the SG walks you through what you need and when.
I have mine showing TFT, FWT, MPH, and instant MPG. The factory speedo is really off from what the computer says it should be on stock tires, so I find I use this quite a bit as a check. I've kinda learned now where the speedo should be to get my desired speed though.
Instant MPG is nice because sometimes you can get away with less 'foot' than you think you do. I haven't monitored GPH, but I'm sure you could get a similar result, just on a different scale of measurement.
I know the SG has the ability to calculate overall trip conditions, like data logging, but I've never done it. Thought about it a few times, but just never went to read the manual...
