Help with gauges

First, let me start by saying I hate gauges sticking out from anywhere. That said, I found something that seems perfect for me. It interfaces with my iPhone, used the OBD II port to get most of the info, and then also allows you to hook up external sensors for other functions. It's the PLX Kiwi Wifi +iMFD.

Now, the questions I have (so far) are the following:

1- Is there a list of normal temp, pressure, etc., ranges somewhere?

2- I will be using an EGT sensor. Where should I mount it? Is the turbo downpipe sufficient? Only performance mod is an MBRP turbo-back exhaust (4", I believe). No tuner, and that is not in the plan for the future, either.

"Normal" Coolant temp is 190 (it if nevers reaches that your t-stat is bad)

Oil Temp is usually below coolant until the engine gets well warmed up.
With coolant @ 190, Oil temp over 205* (15* delta) @ hi-way speeds
is a sign of (at least) a partial obstruction in the coolant flow.
It seems 6-8* delta is typical

Trans temp runs < 155* most of the time (not towing something)
I don't monitor exhaust temp, so I can't explain that.

I have an Excursion and the scangauge2 fits nicely into the "cubby"
where the upfitter switches on an F-250+ would go.
