Oh it is believe me! Front springs, especially on the passenger side are toast. PO must have driven into a ditch at some point. He had added 2x1/2" steal plates to the spring pack. That was a vein effort, so she still rides low on the right. An interesting find while we were adjusting the brakes was that a large chunk of the front passenger drum was missing, which could have been from his crash.
I had her out driving a bit before putting her away for the winter. First run, I had the hood pop as i was climbing through 50 mph. That was an eye opener! Second run, up to 70 and I think that was about as fast as her little 223 will take her. Im pretty sure my spedo is correct because I passed a Stater running radar at 60 and I wasn't bothered.
Parked for the season. The 65 might look familiar to you guys

First overall test run. Many issues showed up. Mainly a sticking throttle and very bad brakes
Haha! Thank you! Looks like it is a small world after all! And depending on your kids' ages, I might have actually been in school with them at one point. You saw I went down Pineneedle, so you can imagine how that ride felt with that ox cart suspension.
