cps failure---again (i hope)

Looks like it is time to replace my cps again (this will be my third)

.
I got about six years out of the current one. I think it has a limited lifetime warranty so i may be able to exchange it.
It hiccuped twice on me today.

I am on my third one in the 11 years that I have owned mine. I keep two in the glove box...

I called and the warranty was only one year, so i am off to buy another. I think it is made by Wells.

Go to Ford dealer and get one.

100,000 miles and on number five,still have three of the black one's left.

The cps i got from AutoZone today does have a lifetime warranty.
Ford parts department here is not open on sunday.
I am not convinced the color matters, but, todays purchase is grey. The truck is running.

cps threads amaze me sometimes... 9 years and 250,000 miles never had a cps go bad (knock on wood). I have a spare black one in my glove box just in case of course
