I was having high rpm issues as well,it would get to a certain rpm and just not go any higher,I dropped the tank and found this..

I was also running out of fuel at a quarter tank so I installed Strictly diesels kit..

Fell the same with mine... been a knarly 2 weeks..fuel leak on wvo side (broken worm clamp), destroyed tire at dock at river..(that was fun get'n boat outa water), p/s rear outer axle seal leaked allowing water to contaminate the fluid..(anutha 60 buks in fluid GONE)...and now, but wasnt bad, installed the new front stein shocks.

I GAVE UP with my power/boost loss alogng with the howling noise, that and the install of the new clutch assy...been lookn up more in the truck then the wife..

You need a 5/16 and a 3/8 disconnect as they are different sizes. Have you tried it on both of them?

Hey, those kits are nice, but you can DIY for ahellofalot less....I followed Guzzle's advise, and went smooth..(thats a first). Got my filter along with a few extras and the filter base from fleetfilter.com. Evrything else, had from depot and hobby store for the 3/8 and 5/16in aluminum tubing.

I just bought the 3/8 thinking I will just blow the screens out first. I can't fit the thing in between the pump and the line. I don't know what I'm doing wrong I'm sure it's something stupid. I'm about to try again

Ok good news and bad, the bad is I'm an idiot lol. I was flustered and thought the disconnect was for the fuel line on the quick disconnect or blue tab.... Duh. I had my wife listen threw the fuel neck and she heard the blurp blurp I was hoping for time to drop the tank. Went for a ride and hit 27 psi of boost. I hit 26 yesterday after I did personally horrible in a mud bog because of lack of power I only made it 97 feet 4". Power is back as great as I remember with the exception of 38s and 3:73s. Gears are a lot higher on the list now. When I get a chance I'll post a video of me in the bog and some pics. Thanks for all of your help guys

I assume that the blurb blurb meant that you were able to blow the screens out. That means that the screens will not be as dirty when you do the hutch mod. At least when you get the hutch mod and Harpoon mod done you will have little to no air and you will never have to clean screens IN TANK ever again. Sounds like you are much happier.

Yes Im extremely happy! Can't wait to get all that air out now. I'll be keeping a couple spare filters in the glove box for awhile because all that crap I just blew out is going to clog up the soon to be new filter when it picks it back up. Thanks for your help pictures and links. I'll be sending reps to all of you guys as long as I'm not in rep jail.
EDIT: if you didn't get reps sorry it said I had to spread reps around mor, I'll get you guys when I can thanks again.
