2001 Expedition Electrical Oddities

2001 Exp EB, 4x4, air suspension - I will list symptoms I have been having below:

1. ABS light began intermittently blinking or staying on very dim about 3 months ago. Now it stays on steady. Have not been able to determine if ABS is working properly (no snow or ice on ground right now).

2. When ABS light blinked, driver side head light would blink (normal bright to dim) in unison. Passenger side head light OK

3. Lately, truck will turn over OK but wont fire up if head lights are either in ON position or automatic position. Have to turn head lights off to get truck to start (this occurs when it is dark outside). HOWEVER, If headlights are switched to auto, truck wil start up OK during daylight.

4. With engine running and headlights on, if I either flash or turn on high beams, engine immediatley dies.

5. Now, just in the last (2) days, when driving at night, my check suspension light has began to come on even though suspension system is operating OK. Check suspension light does not come while driving in daylight. Also, check engine light just illuminated again, have not tried pulling codes yet (not sure if my low end scanner will be succesful?)

Thanks in advance for any thoughts/ideas

The ABS light comes on to warn you the system is OFFLINE.

Check ground G104, located near the driver's side headlight on the radiator support.

If the ground is good you should check the fuse box and GEM for water contamination due to a windshield leak in that area.
