Driving w/o Diff bolted in?

My front axle is removed, and I am installing a 6" skyjacker lift. Because of a bent support arm, my differential on the front axle has to come out. I have a new support arm going in, and I was wondering if it's possible to drive the truck without the differential part bolted in. I have an ARB air locker that I want to install, and I would like to do it without really losing the truck for a fairly long period of time. The differential doesn't seem to hold up any kind of weight, think it can be done?

try it...if it screws it up...then you have a good excuse to put a radius armed d60 under there

Naw I don't think i'm gonna risk it. I would have to take the whole assembly apart AGAIN and I don't want to do that. Thanks anyway!
