I got them replaced with duratracs. No more dents. Hopefully I dont get any but if thats a normal occurance anymore then I guess i'll have to live with it. Those dents used to be called spun belts, but most things seem to be built cheaper anymore.

I've got to decide between them or the Firestone Destination M/T next summer when I replace my BFG M/T's that are starting to dry rot. Stupid things have <10,000 miles on them
I have a feeling that that is why they took them back as there was nothing wrong with them. Will probably resell them.
I think they well. Tire dealers can agree to warranty a tire if they like, but when they go back to the manufacturer they will evaluate and credit them for the tire only if there is a defect. Small indentations like this are normal, and I'm confident that the tire dealer would end up eating the cost of these if they try to get them credited under warranty.
Simply put: there was likely nothing wrong with these tires. Here's hoping that your new Goodyears treat you better. But like everyone here has an opinion on tire brands, I have never had good luck with Goodyears...
