so i have a 2001 sport trac with 215,000 miles on the untouched engine besides spark plugs and alternator. the original transmission with the same amount of miles with two fluid changes and one filter change. we live in interior alaska from -50 to +80 degrees so this vehicle is not babied
I'm wondering what i can to do the tranny to see how far she will last, it shifts fine. holds first gear also.
beside the transfer case being weak, the sport trac has been a good truck for us
side note drivers side wheel bearing is original also.
thanks for any advise
