I'm going to not obey the doctors orders and go for a horse ride today, Two of my daughters are coming and the one daughter is bringing her 3 sister-in-law. The city has built a new trail in the foothills above Bountiful. A friend of mine is on the committee overseeing the projects and wants to show me the trail before it gets too much snow. He is encouraging all his horse friends to come ride it to show the city that they didn't waste money building a trail that nobody will use. It's not totally done, so it will only be about 8 miles long. I have not been on the horses for almost 6 weeks, I'm scheduled to see the Doc on Thursday and I expect to get clearance to ride then, So I'm only breaking the rules by a few days. If you see horse pictures this afternoon, You'll know that I survived.

Watched Utah beat Colorado yesterday and saw a few minutes of Washington State beating Washington. I found it interesting that 3 of Washington States 4 losses came to Utah schools. ( Utah State, University of Utah and BYU). And BYU has a 8:30 kickoff with USC. That should conclude my college football over dose.

Got the Oil changed in the truck, installed a new TPMS cable ( for the one I destroyed) I bought the new one from Nichols Manufacturing in Arizona. Ford could never find a part number, Spent an hour mulching leaves with the riding mower and then blowing them all into a compost pile. Made an early morning trip down to the school I'm building to check on the Masons that were working Friday. We were several weeks slow getting the masons started because we could not get Mortar, But they are making up time now. Just hoping I can get the walls up high enough to set red iron and get the second floor poured before we have a ton of snow.

Good Morning Gerry

The leg is healing..... I am behaving, staying in my recliner with my legs up.
Lynn and I have been checking the incision every day and it looks good, no sign of infection. So, I did not go waste hours at the ER.

Howdy Gents......
I need a Go-Fund-Me Site.......
Black Friday Solar System parts buying...... The big purchase was three 100 Ah Lithium batteries. The equipment to make a monitoring system.
I went with Renogy. 20% off plus a military discount on top of that.....
I did pay for shipping/delivery insurance. With the cost of the batteries and the other equipment, I just feel better with this coverage. Even though I feel the 39 dollars would be better in my pocket.

Wife and I brought the 13 yr old back to his parents earlier. Daughter wanted to take a short ride in the new Expy and wife wanted to drive. Backing out of the driveway she managed to hit the empty trash can which she claims she didn't see. Small scratches by the rear wheelwell that buffed out easily. No harm no foul I guess!! Had to take a few pics in the daylight so here they are.

Not really diggin the wheels but everyone else likes them. Guess I'm still in the 60's. I like the machined and black look with maybe some BFG or Toyo all terrains. Maybe next Black Friday!!

The Coastal Cabin or fishing camp as they are called down here is being leveled. Daughter and son in law may buy a camper to put down there and pull it back home during hurricane season. Only 35 miles from their house.

Was a nice place but Gone With The Wind.

Bummer about the fishing camp Don. Sounds like a couple of nice trailers would work out nice with a fire pit in the center.

The camp was hit by 3 or 4 pretty bad storms since it was built. Ida was by far the worse. Gusts close to 220 mph and a 16 ft storm surge leveled about 70% of the structures. Maybe keeping the slab and put 2 RV spots would be the answer. Fire pit in the middle to keep the mosquitoes away!!

Don, I'd be teasing her about taking it away until she learns to drive

Today's ride, I survived. Now I can lie to the doc that I've been good and followed her instructions

Leaves are all gone and anyday now, this could be covered in snow.

Any pictures of the Fishing Camp and the area around it.... ??

You could build a new one..... 1 foot thick concrete walls and roof... Doors and windows with 1/4" thick armor plate steel shutters.....
