What I'm really wondering, is if the 100,000 engine warranty covers the oil pan leaking?
I believe it will....

When I actually get the truck, I'll have to look at the dimensions and see what might fit.
I never have enough light when hauling horses down mountain roads with cow open grazing along the edge of the road. A Black Angus just disappears into the darkness of the night.
I have not looked into that and might be interested. I've always had auxiliary lighting on all of my trucks. This is the first one where I haven't been in a hurry to add it. Part of it is I don't know where I'd put it that would look good. That fog light spot you refer to would be really nice if it fit and looked "factory". I'm hoping Morimoto comes out with a solution. They have some good quality stuff. The other reason is the stock LED lighting with the fog lights is pretty dang good. It's by far the best lighting on a stock vehicle I've even owned. I'm not saying you couldn't make it better, but it's pretty dang good. If you have any ideas for aux lighting in front, I'm interested. I just absolutely love the look of the front end and don't want to ruin it.

So I wanted to update the RZR clutch situation. I was contacted by Polaris in the middle of last week. I'm assuming my dealer reached out to them and told them I was upset about my clutch. I can't get into the details, but I want to say for the record that Polaris absolutely stepped up and made things right. Stand up company for sure. They just earned some loyalty from me. I've never had a manufacturer reach out to me personally and attempt to resolve a conflict. I have a pretty "powerful" dealer as far as pull goes, but still. I'm very pleased with Polaris!

My Polaris dealer is almost a non-entity to me. Communication? They haven't tried to contact me to sell me anything. No maintenance reminders. Not that I've needed anything from them. My Ranger was last in their shop about five years ago when I thought I had a leaking seal, which turned out to be my fault when I overfilled the transmission during a fluid change.

It's surprising how little some companies stay in contact with a buyer after the sale. A customer you've already sold something to is an easier sale that a complete cold call.

Going to a special dinner at the VFW this afternoon.......going to be a couple people there telling about the history of our community out here in the boonies of

Still trying to find photos of what that fog light would look like.
Have to make sure a 2" led puts out enough light to make it worth the effort

Dang I don't want to deal with that just as I getting the truck sold.

Anybody else dealt with that on a 6.7L engine? What's involved in fixing the leak and what warranty might it fall under.?

I do not like snakes. One thing I hated about living in the south. Snakes.
We don't want to hear Roy sing. Heidi would join in and they would sound like a pack of coyotes.

Think I'll just wait for Black Friday and see what Dash Cams and hitches go on sale. Only two weeks away, I might as well gamble that something will go on sale.
I had the same sorta leak and mine ended up as the vacum pump base gasket on my 14. Lot cheaper and easier than the pan as you don't have to drop the trans. Have them do a dye test to verify but if it's a pan issue then it's gonna require the trans R&R. It's a one day job only for a decent mechanic.
