Shop Ford and Alumizlla say my truck was delivered yesterday to the dealer.
I expect a phone call today telling me it has arrived.
Hopefully I can be driving it for the weekend but it may be Monday or Tuesday. Dealer has to do the spray in bedliner in his shop. I like his product better than the stuff Ford uses.

Good morning guys!!

Andre...glad the young man will take time out of his busy schedule to stop by and see you!
Keep those pics coming Gerry..love the load of 58's. I still remember when my uncle bought one for my aunt. Fairlane 500 4 dr hardtop. Turquoise and white.
Waiting on a vehicle drives me nuts...hope it gets delivered soon Jon.

Still in the 80's down here and also mowing the lawn.

Got the wife off to work and the grandson and myself are planing our day! Got to watch about 15 minutes of the CMA awards last night and saw Charlie Pride do one of his #1 songs. Still trying to figure out what the others on there were singing.

We received these F-4's right before I left the Air Guard. Fresh from Vietnam and the Coonass Militia logo didn't last long either. Replaced by F-15's which they still fly.

I ordered a new custom enclosed trailer yesterday from Double R Trailers in Idaho. It's going to be combination Bronco hauler / ATV hauler. I tried to buy a trailer here localy but the kid that took over the business just doesnt know how to make a sell. I started out by stopping by the business and talked about the trailer I wanted , he was going to send me a bid, nothing. I had to make 2 phone calls to him and finally had to talk to his mother or grandmother before I finally got a bid. A hand written bid without all the options I wanted, but the total price was there. I had some questions on some of the options, he didn't know the answer was going check with the manufacturer and call me back, Crickets! I finely got tired of dealing with him and glad I did. I called Double R trailers, several emails later and a few phone calls two days later we made the deal. I believe the Double R trailer is going to be better trailer anyway.

Two types of people in the NAVY, Snipes and Passengers!! It's a NAVY Thing

My Dad and I shared the commonality of both of us worked in the Engine Rooms (SNIPES for those not familiar with NAVY slang) he was Diesel and I was Gas Turbines, both West Coast so been to a lot of the same places. My brothers would get mad when we'd start talking about places we'd been and what we saw, they couldn't talk about the same things.

I have a picture of my dad reenlisting on the fantail of a ship he was stationed on in Pearl Harbor and when I had it with me on ship a bunch of the guys asked me when I reenlisted in Pearl Harbor. His ship was tied up at the same pier we tied up to most of the time in port and you could see it in the picture. We looked a lot alike at the same age.

Imagine how it must feel when you look through the periscope on your submarine only to see an ASW asset right on top of them with open bomb bay doors?

Gone Bear Hunting....
