Today When my workers got back they told me that the windows had stopped working, When I checked it I noticed that on my driver side none of the Buttons Including the Lock and Unlock switch are working, no clicks or whines of motors. Then when I checked the Passenger Side, I noticed the Window switch not working but the Lock/unlock switch was, I changed the fuse for the Window and still the Problem remains. The Window is partly open so I have a bag over it, this happend before and it out of nowhere started working please let me know if you have any advice on this.
Try taking the switches out of the door panels and take the switches themselves apart and clean all the contacts in them. A buddy of mine had the same problem and this is what fixed his.
Welcome Steve! If it were mine, the first thing I would do would be to pull the driver side door panel off and check all the wires at the driver side switch to see if you're even getting power on any of them. The way these things are wired, the power feeds from the driver side switch to the passenger side switch. I believe with the driver side switch unplugged, or not working the passenger side one will not work either. That's why the window lock button can work the way it does. I would second that cleaning the driver side switch up is a good idea too.
Check the wires coming into the front of the door (between the fender and door in the rubber boot). They tend to break there from all the opening and closing of the doors.
Same issue last year with me, so I called 1-800- BAD WIRE! Sliced open the door hinge boot and found a severed wire. resoldered, taped and all was fine.
