btw, just read something about the older trucks that when the windows are "locked" the associated window buttons are not illuminated. wondering if the 6.7 has a similar feature such that when the windows are unlocked, they are lit, and when they are they are unlit and the window lock switch is lit. my truck is not here at the moment otherwise id go investigate. anyone care to check? thanks in advance, you guys are awesome - as always.
When windows are unlocked all window lights are on. When the windows are locked, the driver side windows are lit, the rest of the truck are not. Door locks stay lit all the time as far as I know.
what about the "window lock" switch??? trying to figure this out while my they have my truck, so if there is a fault, it will be solved along with the other stuff
sun of a gun...wow. thanks for the effort on that. lets see if anyone else chimes in. funny thing is i looked real close at the switch, and swear its got the type of "architecture" that allows for illumination
Manufacture date of April 2010, obvious job 1. Window lock 'off' all window buttons are lit up, window lock 'on' only the window switches on the drivers door are lit up. Door lock switches are lit up whether the doors are locked or un-locked.
