Some years/engines use COPs (Coil-On-Plug)
and others use Coil Packs and spark plug wires.

well i got a new coil or cop replaced it , seems to run alot better . The check engine light is still on when is was running pretty rough will it go out by its self or should i reset the code to blank , can i just disconect ther batt ofr 10 min or can i go to auto zone to see if they can clear the code

it seems it still might have a slight miss still but no where how it was running . does it take a few days to start running normal . i feel i should replace the rest of the 6 cops . 2 have been replaced and about 2 wks ago all new plugs

ok so i replaced the cop #1 it ran good all day , not rough at like it was , and the check engine light went off . later in the day the check engine light went back on i wonder if the cop went bad cause it was a pretty cheap one off on ebay . I will go to autozone and see what code it threw

it still throwing p0301 cyn 1 misfire , i guess its the plug or the injector , do cheap cop ever go bad in a day . i bought one on ebay for 10.50

do your self a favor and just replace the plug anyway....you already have the COP off...for 4 bucks y are you monkeying around when you could have a bad plug
Get used to cylinder misfires......when you find out what cylinder it is just replace the COP AND the plug....its 4 dollars!!!!
a garage will usually replace both for 30 -40 bucks if you cant do it your self

Yes they can. I bought one of the bargain sets from a recommended seller on ebay and 1 was dead on arrival.

it could be the injectors now , i put some injector cleaner in the gas tank in not running as bad before i recplaced the COP . I just put the cleamer in yesturday ill try to drive it around to see what is does

i bought a new plug and replaced it , i guess ill drive it around and see if it improves
