Body Bolts

Alright this is going to show how **** I am about my vehicles but oh well. These trucks are able to have body lifts, so there has to be body bolts there. My truck looking at it between the cab and the bed, the body line is off not even 1/4 of an inch, but it bugs the hell out of me. Looking at it seems its the back of the cab thats off because that needs to be raised just a little. Maybe where it hooks up bent in after years, I dont know.

So the questions.

How many body bolts hold the cab to the frame?

What size are the bolts?

The reason I ask is im thinking about loosening them all and popping a couple washers under the back ones to get that little bit of gap out of the body line. Has anyone else done this?

? Cab dont know what they call these. (the two small rear doors, not full doors)

it is a excab.
i think there are 4 bolts that hold it, you will just have to get under it to make sure.
but adding a spacer should work, but the rubbers may be bad and need to be replaced

Did not know there was anything rubber on it. Guess I need to talk to a dealer about the price on parts then.

i believe there are rubbers that are like shocks to help smooth the ride.

We call them pucks at the plant. A thick piece of rubber between 2 round shaped metal pieces, with a hole through the center for the bolt to go through.
