Ok, I got this buddy, he's got a nice 67 Ford Bronco sitting out in his yard. He wants to get it up and running because I told him he is wasting one hell of a truck using it as Yard decor. He was going to roll the whole thing in to his garage. Now he it thinking about just taking the body off and rolling the chassis into the garage and going to town on that part first. he was wondering how hard it is to take the body off, how many bolts there are and about how many guys he will need to take it off... so he knows how much beer to buy. Any help would be great. Thanks
How far is the body stripped down? Are the top, windshield, doors, tailgate off? Are the seats out? If it was stripped down to the tub, I would say 4 guys could handle it. Be sure that it is supported toward the middle when it is lifted; if you grab the corners only, it could tend to split in half just behind the doors. If you are going to lift the complete body, top and all, I would start with 6 BIG guys (and one woman directing traffic).
