Just had these installed while some other work was being done.
My middle axle is not centered after these were installed. Appears that I may have an adjustment since the fixed side of the equalizer has two holes in it. Should my middle/center axle be centered ?
Does it matter if it is exactly centered ?
I have approximately 4" between the tires on the first and middle axles. I have approximately 2" between the tires on the middle and rear axles.
Do these also provide abit of lift ?
I am thinking these raised it about an inch.
I will measure this weekend on my overall height and will know for sure.
I don't know your answer but just from a common sense point of view you want them spaced the same because of turns.
you would think but the info I am getting from three different trailer manufactures is that the spacing being off by an inch isn't critical.
I would like to get them even just because it looks correct.
I need to try moving the spring into the other position to see if it is possible. I am thinking this would correct the spacing issue.
I am guessing I need to lift the entire trailer to remove the center axle springs. Is this correct ?
